After the morning meeting it’s time to step into the office for the day at this Northern Ontario Mine.

Running two Cat 770’s around the clock ensures that the more paydirt is brought to surface.

Totten Mine had it’s official grand opening this past Friday. I had the pleasure to photograph all the different stages of the project and I watched the progress every weekend as I headed to my cottage which takes me right past the site. Totten closed in 1972 a year before I was born and as a kid when we crested the hill and the old headframe came into view we knew we were almost at the lake.
Congratulations to everyone involved.

Only a single operator is needed with this deep hole drill. The control panel enables full control over drilling, which gives the driller ample time to prepare equipment and empty core barrels.

I was recently approached to photograph a steel company for some new promotional materials that are in the works. The images they have now were created over 10 years ago and are a bit “outdated” to say the least. If your company is constantly expanding it’s technology and processes your marketing materials should change with it.

This 2 man crew stack hundreds of product every few minutes to be shipped around the globe. Like an assembly line in any product factory, the fast pace makes the workday go by fast……….so they say.
