That’s the catchphrase from Sluice Mining Apparel. I had the pleasure of visiting their booth at a recent Sportmans Show in Sudbury where they were introducing their line to the public. Check out their site at www.Sluice.Biz or email them for more info at Sluiceminer@gmail.com to get your hands on some clothing and stickers. As you can see below, I already have mine.
If you are flipping through the latest edition of Canadian Mining Journal you will come across more of my images that I have created for the Totten Mine Archives. Take the time to read the article “VALE’S VISION” by Russell Noble which highlights the key elements of the Totten Mine Project
Here are a few images used throughout the article. Click image to view Canadian Mining Journal Digital Edition
Totten Mine had it’s official grand opening this past Friday. I had the pleasure to photograph all the different stages of the project and I watched the progress every weekend as I headed to my cottage which takes me right past the site. Totten closed in 1972 a year before I was born and as a kid when we crested the hill and the old headframe came into view we knew we were almost at the lake.
Congratulations to everyone involved.
I was recently approached to photograph a steel company for some new promotional materials that are in the works. The images they have now were created over 10 years ago and are a bit “outdated” to say the least. If your company is constantly expanding it’s technology and processes your marketing materials should change with it.
As I was airborn last week for some aerial photography I came across a few local aggregate sites that I though had some interesting layouts. The aggregate process is very complex and somewhat of a science when it comes to efficient production. Sites like these have streamlined this process to achieve maximum effeciencey in the shortest amount of time.
