A recent image from my Atlas Copco shoot in Kirkland lake graced the cover of Mining & Construction Magazine.
If you are flipping through the latest edition of Canadian Mining Journal you will come across more of my images that I have created for the Totten Mine Archives. Take the time to read the article “VALE’S VISION” by Russell Noble which highlights the key elements of the Totten Mine Project

Totten Mine had it’s official grand opening this past Friday. I had the pleasure to photograph all the different stages of the project and I watched the progress every weekend as I headed to my cottage which takes me right past the site. Totten closed in 1972 a year before I was born and as a kid when we crested the hill and the old headframe came into view we knew we were almost at the lake.
Congratulations to everyone involved.
Only a single operator is needed with this deep hole drill. The control panel enables full control over drilling, which gives the driller ample time to prepare equipment and empty core barrels.
I was recently approached to photograph a steel company for some new promotional materials that are in the works. The images they have now were created over 10 years ago and are a bit “outdated” to say the least. If your company is constantly expanding it’s technology and processes your marketing materials should change with it.
This 2 man crew stack hundreds of product every few minutes to be shipped around the globe. Like an assembly line in any product factory, the fast pace makes the workday go by fast……….so they say.

When was the last time your companies trade show booth was updated? Last year? 3 years ago? Mining Industrial conventions are right around the corner and if you are planning on updating your marketing materials for these shows now is the time to get it done.
A lot of the times my clients will hire me to provide images for their new trade show booths and convention materials. The bigger the image, the more eye catching the booth is. I have seen this over and over at trade shows. The booths that have unique and visually compelling images have the trade show attendee’s walk slower past their booths, while the booths that have mundane or “stock” images tend to not get a lot of attention.
You know the saying a picture speaks a thousand words? Well there is a reason why that saying was created. Click HERE and see how Eye Catching images can be used in your 2014 marketing materials.
After being processed through a centrifuge this material can now be sent back with the ore to extract the remaining metals.
