Captured this Kovatera Unit from the shop floor to it’s natural underground environment. When all goes as plan just a few hours we created eye catching images of all angles that showcase this units features.
Lots of backseat space in this Rokion R400, even in the backseat.

Pure Gold Geologist underground in Red Lake. The utility in the background added enough light to outline Jillian from the rock wall.

Jasper took the time to drive us around to all our locations while we were on site so it was only fitting to capture an image of her and our ride. We managed to capture some great images while we were there and we are looking forward to our next visit.
ITH Longhole driller
After capturing this pullback image showcasing the driller, area and equipment. I then captured more specific images of each element within the environment (stay tuned).

The Rokion R400 Battery Electric Ramp Truck line-up includes 6, 9 & 12 passenger crew trucks. These vehicles are built from the ground up at their core facility located in the Canadian Prairies. If I manage to take my cross Country Motorcycle trip to the West coast again this summer, I might just have to take a side tour for a facility tour.

The upward climb to the surface after a long day in the warm humid environment of the underground.
Sometimes you wake up and go to work in the dark hours of the morning, work all day in the underground with the minimal light your equipment provide and at the end of the shift when you exit the portal, the sunshine slaps your face and your eyes protest for the briefest moment as they adjust to the ambience of the surface world.
This style of mining/industrial portrait has become one of my signature looks. I have referred to it in the past as my “Thank You” portrait for taking the time to allow me to photograph them in their environment. This was taken last year at the end of “The Drift” shoot. Thanks Cindy and Vale Creighton Mine for making this happen.
