Here is another Mine Truck from the Atlas Copco Sudbury Fleet that I had to Photograph for their marketing materials. The blow image was taken with an expensive DSLR and even had a few photoshop actions applied to it to "spruce it up" but it just didn't cut it.
Here is the Image I created of the same truck. Lighting, composition, time of day and even the location you place the vehicle plays a key role into creating Impact Images.

Vale released approximately 1,000 walleye yearlings into Ramsey Lake today. The fish were raised in a 1,500 litre tank at the company’s greenhouse in Copper Cliff. Vale has been raising fish in its Copper Cliff Greenhouse since 2011 to stock lakes and rivers in the Greater Sudbury Area. Atlas Copco are busting out some great new features on their mine/drilling trucks to be safer while operating. Custom compartments, rod holders and bit boxes are just a few of the new modifications.
Now it's official haha. I just received my copy of the next issue of Canadian Mining Magazine with my cover image.

When Paul Ross contacted me asking if he could "borrow" a few of my Mining Images I was a bit hesitant in the reply until I discovered their usage. Paul wanted to have the images incorporated into a T-Shirt design that he would then sell to the public with proceeds from sales going to the SickKids Foundation (Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto that supports research into Pediatric Illnesses). So I sent a few images off to him for approval and he then fired them off to his designer Tony Hogue of www.tonyhogue.com (Kickass Designer). Several months later I am walking the 2013 Canadian Mining & Industrial Exposition show here in Sudbury and I came across Paul's booth featuring all the designs, clothing and cellphone cases. (The cellphone cases are badass!). Go stop by and pick up a few items (especially the ones featuring my images) and support Paul and Sick kids. You can also see him at the Canadian Mining Expo in Timmins later next month.
