The initial site tour when we arrive is sometimes a great opportunity to capture some candid images with client interaction. During this time not only am I trying to photograph usable images, I am also mentally taking note of where the sun is in the sky and the trajectory of where it is going and where it was. This helps determine the right time of day to photograph specific locations on the site without using any external light sources.
