Today I found myself in the shops of Sudbury Industrial Rock-Tech. Rock-Tech is looking at vamping up their marketing materials and tradeshow booth for the upcoming Mining Expo and so they brought me in to create some eye-catching images of their employess doing their thing. This is just one of many images I created today and I look forward to seeing the end result at the Canadian Mining Expo Timmins.

Well, it's not "really" vintage, just has that vintage look. Normally I do not work on Sundays but I was playing around with some older photos and I figured I would see if I could give this one an old time look.

Just a few extra key lights can make a dull mundane scenario have just a little more punch and create some much needed impact. Why should you have to "re-do" a photography shoot? Get it right the first time.

Here is another demonstration of my Crappy Vs Snappy scenarios. These images were taken 1 hr apart.. Let your clients decide which image has more impact for your marketing or selling purposes. Just as the sun was starting to set this lone Cat makes it's way to the mine site for the night shift.

This 700 Series Caterpillar Mining Truck looks like a Tonka Toy in a sandbox compared to the scale of the open pit! With a tire height of over 4 feet this Mine Truck is no small fry in the Open Pit Mining Industry.

It's a 24/7 operation on a Mine Site so the trucks keep on rolling by.

These mini underground backhoe's can get into spaces where space is limited. The versatility of these machines make it a must have for all sites.

If you have a specialized product or service to offer to the public then why would you settle for "good enough"? I was told by a recent fellow photographer that we are in the era of "good enough" when it comes to photography and how clients perceive it. As a professional Mining/Industrial Photographer I feel it is my right…………..no my duty to educate the vast public and of course my future clients within the industry. Even for something like Industrial Equipment Rental and Sales where you have hundreds of product and a fast pace turn around. You don't have have every product photographed professionaly but why not your best sellers or your recent additions to the fleet? Don't settle for "Good Enough". Your company deserves the best………..even with photography. A professional image of a product or service will have more impact on your clientelle and thus increase purchases……………which leads to more mucho donaro.
