Water quality from a decomissioned mine site is still tested years after the mine is shutdown.
Had to do some aerial photographs today out by Killarney Ontario. Grabbed this image of my ride during some dowtime.
Sometimes when it's the right time of day you can position yourself so that the harsh sun is coming in through upper opening of the core shack, lighting up the entire inside for a unique crisp image.
Well I had a great time at the Timmins Canadian Mining Expo 2013. I managed to get away form my booth the first morning and stroll through the tradeshow where Icaptured a few images of other booths that had some of my images on display. This was one of the best Mining Shows I have attended and I am looking forward to next years.

Here is another Mine Truck from the Atlas Copco Sudbury Fleet that I had to Photograph for their marketing materials. The blow image was taken with an expensive DSLR and even had a few photoshop actions applied to it to "spruce it up" but it just didn't cut it.
Here is the Image I created of the same truck. Lighting, composition, time of day and even the location you place the vehicle plays a key role into creating Impact Images.

Vale released approximately 1,000 walleye yearlings into Ramsey Lake today. The fish were raised in a 1,500 litre tank at the company’s greenhouse in Copper Cliff. Vale has been raising fish in its Copper Cliff Greenhouse since 2011 to stock lakes and rivers in the Greater Sudbury Area. In the spring of last year, Vale released thousands of rainbow trout fingerlings into the Onaping River. Read More Here or read the Sudbury Star Article
Here is another added modification to one of Atlas Copco's mine truck. Custom storage units on either side of the box for easy access to bits and tools.
Why does Atlas Copco hire me to photograph these little details on their custom fabrications?
