A pair of Hitatchi and Komatsu haul trucks take a moment to watch the Nevada sunrise.
The morning of October 3rd 2019 was a memorable one. We got up in the morning darkness so I could capture the end of the night shift and beginning of the morning shift knowing that the morning sunrise was not going to disappoint.
There are so many images I would love to share with everyone but I do not showcase the images I create until the client has used them first and sometimes that takes a few years. My time at Marigold was amazing and the people and images we created were some of my favorite. Maybe you will see more, maybe you won’t, only time will tell. 🙂

Driving to the next location on site we passed by this Hitachi front shovel excavator that was in the process of getting refueled. It was the perfect opportunity to capture a few images without disrupting production. We drove past this area a few times during the last few days but when the shovel is in operation I could only capture images from an outer perimeter but I wanted to show something up front and personal.
