An industrial Sandblaster prepares to resurface this sheet of metal which is to be used in the companies product. "Sandblasting" is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of fine sand against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface, or remove surface contaminants. A pressurized fluid, typically air, or a centrifugal wheel is used to propel the sand.

Here is another version of my "Crappy vs Snappy" scenarios where lighting, exposure and even post processing can make or break the photo and the impact you want your clients/readers/investors to see. If you are using your companies images for your marketing materials, magazine articles or your Corporate website make sure you acquire photographic images that have that "wow" factor to begin with. So this is something that I am pretty stoked about. Although I have had my images on the cover of other various magazines, this is the first cover for a Mining/Industrial Magazine, so I thought I would post a shameless brag about it. I have another shoot scheduled for the cover of another Industrial Magazine this month and last month I covered a story that will be featured in a Hydro One Magazine so I am pretty excited about these publication.
