A Major In Mining
This is one portrait I have been looking forward to for years. The name Greg Major always puts a smile on my face when I hear it, especially when I see him face to face greeting him with the words “Mr. Major, how are you?”.
Greg Major is the Director of Norcat’s Underground Center where I have photographed dozens of times over the years. The Norcat Crew have always been a staple of professionalism, courtesy and organization. Over the years I have tried to get him in front of my camera for a few minutes when I was on site, but when you have a mine to run, you are a busy person, or maybe he just doesn’t like having his picture taken………lol. When Greg finally called and asked if I had some time to update his portrait I replied “Finally!” & “Anything for you my friend.”
I knew the portrait would be simple, one of my “Hodgins Signature Portraits” as some of you have come to call them. Get him in front of the camera, have him smile his smile and you will easily see his personality. For those of you that know him, you know what I mean. I tip my hard hat to you Mr. Major.
Greg has a long list of credibility under his hardhat along with the Norcat staff you can be assured that your experience at the facility will be efficient, productive and safe. You can read more of Greg’s accomplishments off the Norcat.org/team.html page.
