Faces Of Mining
My favorite part of the job…………creating portraits and telling stories.
Another portrait I created while in Alaska at the Donlin Gold LLC site with my PENDA Productions Inc. Team. Project Manager and geologist Michelle. I still chuckle to myself thinking back to this day as minutes after we were introduced we started to unload all our gear and she quickly grabbed one of my largest (and heaviest) cases and walked away with it like it was full of air. Later, after I was done photographing the portraits we hopped in her side by side (pictured here) and headed out into the tundra to capture some other employees in the field not far from site. When we arrived out our destination and me looking around noticing there was nothing here but trees, she nodded in front of us saying “we still need to walk a few hundred meters”. I immediately thought of all my gear I had on me and without missing a beat Michelle says, with a humorous smirk “would you like me to carry your gear for you?”. If I was drinking something at that moment I probably would have snorted it out of my nose lol 🤣. Of course I took her up on the offer and we trudged into the greenery. I’ll post those images at a later date. I’m still talking about this PENDA Adventure, lots of great people, scenery and of course photography.
If your not already following PENDA Productions Inc. please do so and be informed of other upcoming PENDA Adventures.
