Here is another photograph I captured during the mine construction process. This huge excavator looks like a miniature in front of the massive headframe in the background.

It takes a lot of man-power (and machine power) to create the foundation of a successful mine. Load and transporting ground materials is just part of the process.
Just got back from networking with some past and future Mining Industrial Clients at the Mine Expo in Timmins Ontario. This was a great show with an amazing turnout. I enjoy walking through the tradeshow looking at the different booths and of course the images used in them. Some booth's surprised me (not in a good way) and others blew me away. It's great to see companies using some strong photography in their marketing materials so hat's off to them for going the extra step. I was also pleased to see some of my past clients using images that I have created for them in their current tradeshow booths and marketing handouts. Here is a quick snapshot of the Wabi Iron & Steel Corp Booth. The guys at the booth said that they use this background for their tradeshows all over and have had amazing responses from tradeshow attendees. Images with "Impact" DO draw peoples attention.

Smelter Ladle hosted by the crane operator.
On another note Sudbury, Ontario Canada has been chosen as the location for Cliffs Natural Resources Chromite Processing Facility/Smelter
Here is a photo I did today at the Sudbury Vale Smelter. I had to shoot through the control room window which can always be a challenge with reflections when using off camera flash to get some extra light into the image.

Using stock images for your marketing material or your website is not a good idea, especially if your company is part of the fabrication process. Why not highlight your fabricated product with images of YOUR product. I see so many companies that fail realize the impact it has on the company by using generica, standard stock images that you see everywhere on the net. Luckily more and more companies are realizing the benefits of having custom professional photography for their company like Fuller Industrial.

A lone underground driller methodically advances the drillbit into the rockface. To underground drillers, this is their office……..and solitary confinement.
