Another capture we created of Kendra Liinamaa at work to accompany her write-up for MOXY: The Voice of Women in Infrastructure. I don’t know which images will be used so I try to create a variety to choose from. Leaving some negative space in an image at the time of capture is useful for a few a reasons. 1. it allows for overlay text or graphics to be placed on the image without obscuring the subject. and 2. it allows for closer cropping if needed. A good rule of thumb is “If you have it framed just right in camera, zoom out a bit.”
